The Life Rooms offer support to those wanting to take the next steps in their life. Our services are free and available to everyone. The Life Rooms Pathways Advice Service

We can signpost you to our partners and community connections to help with practical or social support you need; such as benefits or financial advice, caring responsibilities, social interactions or housing. We have two teams; one for Liverpool and one for Sefton.

If you are under the care of the Liverpool Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) or Early Intervention Team (EIT), we can help support you back into work; advising on job applications, CVs and interviewing.

Social Inclusion Team

Our team supports underrepresented communities in Liverpool to access health services as well as opportunities to improve their health and wellbeing.

We use our knowledge, experience and skills to work closely with diverse groups such as people seeking asylum, refugees, BAME, GRT and D/deaf communities.

We can also offer advice and guidance to other professionals in culturally-sensitive service delivery.

Have some free time and want to make a difference to people's lives?

Have some free time and want to make a difference to people's lives? You can become a Mersey Care volunteer through the Life Rooms in a number of roles and learn new skills, gain experience and make a difference to people's lives. Our volunteers benefit from full training, ongoing support and personal development, reimbursed travel expenses and the opportunity to apply for internal roles.

Can your service benefit from volunteers?

Volunteers can be a valuable asset to your service. Our volunteers can provide expertise, a friendly face and much more to support your staff and service users. If you would like to introduce or add additional volunteers to your service, develop a new role for your service or just want further details please contact the Participation and Volunteering Team on the details below.
